My team is out so I'm trying to watch the playoffs from a neutral point of view. The play in the NBA is off of the chart this time of year. If I was going to guess who will make the finals I'd say The Celtics and Nuggets. The Celtics when playing all out are the team to beat but I'd never undersell The Nugget due to Jokic. Has to be my favorite big ever. OKC may need another year of seasoning but they're so fun to watch. The one player I'm enjoying to watch is Kyrie Irving. His game is so smooth and he has to have the best handle in the league by a wide margin. Yes, he's one weird dude.

One thing I've notice watching the playoffs is that Anthony Edwards is going to be a STUD for a long time.

He's only 22! He reminded me of MJ last evening. He's capable of caring a team. Too bad he plays for The Timberwolves. I'm not a fan of their offensive sets. I can't see them beating Denver.

This is some quality trolling by the Timberwolves though:

One thing I've notice watching the playoffs is that Anthony Edwards is going to be a STUD for a long time. The raw talent at Georgia was apparent, but I did not think he’d be this good at all, honestly, let alone this good this fast. I thought he might be the guy that can make tough buckets but shoots them all the time, just because he can. He’s an awesome example of how the percentage stats don’t always change do the talent justice, on weaker rosters, especially when surrounded by a bunch of non-shooters nobody had to step out and guard. Guys who can get a bucket when you need one, at the highest levels of athleticism, can supersede that stuff.

I'm not sure anyone can beat Denver.. the Murray Jokic duo is very tough and their role players are good as well.

Starting to get excited about the Magic again, but they never get accessible TV Can't believe that the NBA is messing with access to these games. Anyway, Did any of you watch the Nuggets Lakers game? That was a great game. I'm hoping Lebron comes back for at least another season. I do believe he needs to play ~6-5 minutes less per game. He's older and never was built for the marathon that a basketball game is made of. It's amazing how he's lasted this long and still playing at a high level. He has had trouble finishing games this season due to the minutes he plays.

Starting to get excited about the Magic again, but they never get accessible TV There's always at least a few playoff games in the early rounds that are only on NBATV. I can understand why they do that, especially given the TV markets involved for those games that get put on there. And the NBA isn't the only league that does it. For close to a decade, there was at least one postseason game on MLB Network. Up until a couple years ago, there were select first round games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs that would air on NHL Network.

For you guys not into the NBA due to some long standing view are missing out on watching the best players and teams ever assembled. The skills and team play are what's differentiating these teams that are left. ANT is a beast! When they have to score he's unstoppable. We'll see what SGA is made of as well. Two great young NBA players that are not even in their primes. Let's face it the NBA's best players are now not named Lebron, Curry and Durant.

BTW I loved the Jordan Bulls, the Duncan SA Spurs and especially the Curry/Durant GSW teams but the players right now are just as good if not better IMO. The shooting is deeper, the guys overall are more athletic and the passing spot on.

Unfortunately those of us that are Bulls fans are stuck watching a team in NBA purgatory.

Can't imagine there were many outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul that thought the Wolves would be up 2-0 after the first 2 games in Denver.

Can't imagine there were many outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul that thought the Wolves would be up 2-0 after the first 2 games in Denver. I never thought they would be up 2-0 let alone blowing out the NBA champs while on the road! Their D has been something to watch while ANT and KAT are scoring at will. I feel bad for my favorite big Jokic having to shoulder the Nuggets and their underwhelming performance. I wonder if it really is Denver's lack of a bench or that the Timberwolves are just that good. If you're not watching ANT play, you're missing something. He has a way to go to reach the MJ and Kobe(s) of the NBA but I'd not bet against him. He'll be the face of the NBA if he's not already. There's also the Olympics he'll be participating in. I'd be surprised if he's not starting alongside Curry as the starting guard come July.

Only one other time the defending champ went down 0-2 and lost both games at home was the 2011 Lakers. They lost the first two games at home to Dallas in the West semis. The Lakers ended up getting swept and the Mavs ended up winning the NBA title that year. Somewhat surprisingly that was the only time that Dirk and Kobe ever met in the playoffs.

I like the Knicks but man have they been handed their games by the reffs. Hoping that Indy wins their next two. I also like Indy's brand of basketball over the Knicks.

LOL Good game yesterday but those two teams are beating each other up. Also, Denver came out fighting. ANT was not aggressive enough. He needs to demand the ball. He showed us that he's only 22. BTW - Illinois' Coleman Hawkins has the game to become another Aaron Gordon with hard work IMO.

Minnesota has four years left to enjoy Edwards before he leaves for a bigger market and more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
