This says a lot about the effort the guy is putting into his game. The Thunder are loaded at the 1-4 position. I suspect they'll make a trade in the coming months if Chet's injury is a bit more serious then expected. They have so many trade assets that if there's a decent big to get with a decent salary they'll be able pull the trigger. My guess from year before they're going all in this year to make a run at the title. They do not have the stomach to go over the cap. What this all means if Leons can showcase his talent in the coming weeks, he may just stick around because keeping him and his salary makes a ton of sense. Wishing the kid the best.

Malevy is, right now, about as perfect of an end of roster guy as you can get. Great human. Can defend a bunch of positions. Can do a lot of things. No ego. Not a guaranteed deal.

Yeah, was watching Coleman Hawkins beclown himself last night after their L, and was thinking on this point a little while watching that. Coleman was on the periphery too, and he had a very nice pay day he achieved, so good for him there. Still, nobody wants that kind of immaturity at the end of their roster. If you are like that, you better be good enough to stay in a rotation. Also, high volume scorers in college have a major adjustment to make when on the professional margins that Leons simply doesn’t have to prove anymore.

Just when I get all caught up on where he is and how hes doing. This sucks for him and I have no idea what it means for him. But hopefully he ends up in a good place.

They just signed Branden Carlson, who is a rookie 7 foot center, and is a more immediate area of need for their roster.

It looks like he will stay with OKC this week during EuroBasket qualifiers. The Netherlands basketball website lists the final roster and Luuk is the only former Brave named to this week's roster.
