The OFC is down to their final four teams, with a semifinals and final that will be contested in New Zealand in March:
New Caledonia vs. Tahiti New Zealand vs. Fiji
The winner of that grouping will automatically qualify, while the runner-up will advance to the inter-confederation playoffs.
In South America, Colombia has been struggling but still likely safe. Brazil is still desperate to find an alpha striker, something they've never had scarcity. Bolivia showing signs of life has been one of the more interesting storylines. Right now, they are in the interconfederation playoff spot, ahead of Venezuela, Chile, and Peru.
Suriname is following up their strong CONCACAF Nations League performance by leading their second round group.
In Africa, one of the biggest stories that should be getting more attention is Comoros leading their group. The nation which is a group of 3 islands, one of which looks like a thong, has a population of just 1 million people.
