I figure we are far enough along with recruiting that we can do some “Wisdom of Crowds” polling for the standings. I’m thinking I’ll let these set for a few days before moving on to the next spot and we’ll work from the bottom up. Maybe a couple spots a week, which would have this ending around the end of July.
Yeah, I know, who can tell on this stuff, especially in the NIL era. We might look really stupid, but when has that ever stopped us before???

Wow, this feels like an immpossible task this year. I have no idea. I voted Valpo.

Valpo is returning their top 3 scorers from last year while a few teams lost nearly 100% of their production from last year. I don't think Valpo is going to be very good, but I think they should move up a few spots just because others are starting from essentially 0.

This is technically true - but Isaiah Stanford just underwent knee surgery and his status this season is in doubt. That’s really what pushed me to vote Valpo

Yeah, I might have gone Valpo 12th anyway, but Stafford nudges me more to it. That said, I expected to Valpo to be more competitive this year, and not be 300+ anymore. They could potentially make a real step forward in competitiveness without moving forward in the standings.

Predicting the league is going to be hard with all the new faces. There's just not a lot that is known about how teams will mesh and how good the incoming transfers will be. I went Drake because it's a complete roster overhaul and a new coach. Think they still have some scholarships to fill too.

Indiana State has a chance to go from first to worst. Evansville lost Humrichous, Bailey, etc. They could drop back. Valpo is a shitbag operation and should be booted from the MVC in general.
The teams I would totally rule out of last place would be Bradley, SIU, Murray, Illinois State, and maybe UIC.

Haven’t seen any votes come in since yesterday, so will probably leave up to end of day today, or tomorrow AM, before I open up a poll for #11. Get your vote in if you haven’t yet.

While I agree that Valpo is garbage, I'm going to say Indiana State. Not only is the team going to be entirely different and most likely no good, I'm guessing fan support after the entire program was gutted will be nonexistent, and just create a spiral of despair.
