Lotta loose balls we aren’t gathering in….. had what looked like a few good defensive stops where they recovered and scored. Our help defense is a step slow / late. Really poor end to the half. Poor personnel groupings for stretches. Sloppy and got crushed on loose balls. Missed some bunnies. Duke ice cold. Zek and Hannah played well overall. Only down 2.

Bad play there but Corey Thomas does three good things in a row. He was ready to contribute right away. Good for him.

Have to remember this team took Princeton out behind the woodshed yesterday. They seem to be a fundamentally sound good team. #4 reminds me of a poor man’s Braden Norris from Loyola.
Going to need these minutes from Thomas moving forward. It’s amazing how Meta can make a good to great move on one play and then get the brakes beat off him on the other end of the floor. His offensive movements show he has at least a little footwork to work with. Use it on the other end of the floor.

We’ve been so used to good defense the start of this season has been a shock to the system.
Wright State is making some really hard shots for sure - but man oh man. The screws need to be tightened big time.

When our help defense rotates someone has to go rebound the damn ball. Atlason has been horrendous everywhere all half and might lead us in 2nd half minutes.
Duke has taken 4 or 5 terrible shots. He has the greenlight all the time, but he still needs to use his brain.

Really strong finish by BU. It could have gone sideways easily. Nice win. Wright State isn’t a bad team and they shot it well.
Duke was less than 100% and other guys contributed. Frustrating at times but go win a title on Sunday.
